I wish I had ideas for you - we have hurricanes here but I don't have enough room to keep stock of anything really....
For earthquakes - I can't help you there either - but - I'd be keeping my fingers crossed and hope that I wasn't naked or anything if one hits...
so maybe stay fully clothed at all times ? ....
Seriously - earthquakes are VERY scary...I think I'd rather go thru a hurricane than an earthquake.
