I hope your puppy is okay. I think you would be responsible for a refund or helping with a certain amount of the vet bills if what the pup has is congenital.
Did the vet run any bloodwork on the pup? Did they run a fecal exam? Sometimes coccidia does not show up but is there. This can make a pup go down very quickly.
Is the pup lethargic from not eating or is it becoming lethargic after she eats?
Did the vet send her home with prescription food? If so, which one?
