Bella was recently spayed/teeth extractions & the vet prescribed Previcox for pain when needed. She gets only 1/4 tablet once a day "if needed". I gave her one the day after surgery, & one another day. She's fine now, but I've googled/found some really sad stories about the use of this drug.
I know that we/animals can have a reaction to "any" drug @ "any" time. Searched on YT and found a few yrs back, but nothing recent. What pain med was prescribed for yr baby? Any opinions about using Previcox? I have a call in to the Vet because she is still having itching problems & I don't want to give her Benadryl since she recently took this drug. I want his opinion, but even then.....I'm so skeptical? Someone was nice enough to let me know to stop the Benadryl a while before her surgery, which I did. Appreciate all the advice here!!
