I paid the going rate in NY which is $1800. Jackson has a very short muzzle and I had almost bought a different Yorkie, from another breeder, that had the long muzzle, and he wanted only $700 (also from NY). He claimed they were bred in Ireland by a vet who happens to also be his daughter. I think it was a scam. My kids said the Yorkie looked like a toy Airedale! I like the babydoll face, but my breeder said show standard is the longer muzzle!
