Interesting to read this so I can defend myself: I did cancel the $200 check I gave Leslee Mitchell in addition to the $600 in cash we gave her. Leslee had every opportunity to make a professional decision to simply exchange the puppy for a refund. Would anyone else want to buy another puppy from her when she does not have the checked by a veterinarian prior to selling to a purchaser? I asked Leslee while visiting the puppies if the puppy was healthy in her bite, back, and legs as well as up to date on her shots. Leslee told me yes, how else would she know all that unless she brought it to the vet to be checked out. Leslee made a mistake and it may be her first but she had every opportunity to make the right decision and take responsibility for her actions.
