When I woke this morning, I woke to the sound of rain. Something we dearly needed. But because of Dolly, I was less than excited about it. So I ran outside and into the pen, a little too fast I guess. I had a towel with me thinking that it would feel cozy if I wrapped it around her. Due to the conditions I didn't give her enough time. I reached out with the towel and just as I touched her, she turned her head and snapped. Her teeth came in contact with my hand. Don't know if it was just a warning or if she just hasn't got enough teeth to do damage...it scared me, but didnt' hurt. So then I just sat on the wet pavement and let her walk around for a while. We sat there for a long time. I finally tried it again without the towel and she let me pick her up. And we had a wonderful little morning together. She lay in my lap for more than an hour and I gave her a waterless bath. She smells and looks much better today!!!
