YEP. Kibble was invented in the 1940s by some fella who was trying to think of a way we could save money after the war. His solution was to STOP feeding our pets REAL MEAT and instead, feed them a bunch of grain and rendered animal offal that was left over from the rendering plants - it was cheap, it was LEFT OVER, it was available - it was INVENTED and MARKETED as "pet food" - alas, kibble was invented
