Oh I am so sorry this happened to you and your daughters. What a terrible tragic thing to have to go thru. The heat is bad here this time of year, and you took every precaution you could to ensure C.D. was safe. There is just no rhyme or reason as to why these things sometimes happen. Sometimes they just do. It's just so heart wrenching when it happens this way.

Please take time to mourn your loss, but then remember and keep close all the special memories you have of C.D. And don't be surprised if one of your other doggies doesn't occasionally display a very "C.D." type behavior. I've noticed it time and time again, that the ones still with us sometimes do something that will immediately be recognized as something the one gone would have done. It's kind of like they are telling me their still around and watching over us. I always say hi and that I still love and miss them.
