Toto was the first Yorkie we had ever seen except for pictures! We did a lot of research and my Patrick searched all over the US for her. We finally found her in Marietta, GA [near Atlanta] and bought her on October 21, 2003. She is purebred and has a pretty impressive pedigree. Her Dad, Wyatt, was the Yorkie that competed in the finals this year at both the Nationals in Tampa and Westminster in New York! He was also the "Top Yorkie" in the US for 2004! Toto was showing a lot of potential except for her size ... noone ever dreamed she would weigh 3 lbs. We didn't want a show dog ... just a sweet pet! We convinced Ava that we would give her a very good home and she agreed to let us buy her ... although she has indeed exceeded the 3 lbs., I don't think Ava has regretted letting us buy her! [We don't "share" what the cost was ... the cost didn't matter ... what mattered to us was the committment we made to Toto!!] Toto is our absolute joy and our lives [yes, Patrick too!!] totally revolve around her!!
