I agree with Lou. If the vet shows the slightest sign of attitude, I would switch vets immediately. Folks who work in close proximity every day often have an "us against the world" mindset which can't be easily overcome. It reminds me of once when I had found a great mechanic to work on my car. He was reasonable on rates, did his work quickly and dependably. Then this crooked, good-for-nothing cokehead came to work for him. I didn't want this guy touching my car because I knew exactly what kind of person and mechanic he was. The touchy part was that he was the good mechanic's brother. All I could do was move on and find another mechanic.
