Thank GOD Cooper's breeder took the time to meet me and make a decision based on ME. I got him as my 18th birthday present to myself! I might not be the typical college student, but my situation allows me to take immaculate care of both my yorkies. When it comes to my boys I never think twice about their care! I've seen older people at the vet that might fall into some breeder's "preferred" categories, refusing care for their pet because of cost/time. Not saying its about money, but age doesn't directly correlate with responsibility level and financial ability. Something some people need to remember. ~How many parents (of appropriate parental age) act negligently and cause harm to their young children? How many houses are in HORRIBLE condition??

that is very true
many older people dont want to spend the money they SHOULD on their dogs
they are JUST dogs
i guess its not about age or color or where you live
its about the people and their devotion to proper care
i guess breeders need an open mind to decide with
