On the original topic, I will always take back one of my dogs. In fact, it is part of my contract. I would much rather have the opportunity to re-home a puppy or dog, then loose contact with him/her. My friendship, assistance, and knowledge are part of the package.

The puppy purchasers may or not have been allergic. I encourage buyers if they are local to come over weekly to play with their puppy after the puppy has had its second shots. This helps eliminate allergies and buyer's remorse.

I know it is disappointing to have to go through the process again to rehome the puppy but you as the breeder knows this puppy's needs better than the owner wanting to return the puppy.
