They're such great dogs; so lovable. My 15-year-old son has really bonded with my Molly. I agree that if you do get a yorkie, that it be on the bigger size. The breeders tend to know approx. how much the pup will weigh. I know the breeder for Lexie said if I wanted a small yorkie, Lexie was not going to be small. I wanted a larger yorkie so she would be a little more "sturdy". She's certainly sturdy and lots of fun. If I had small children, I think she would do great with them. But then again, she weighs 15 lbs. She's very gentle with the 2 little yorkies I have, Glory B 3.5 lbs, and Molly 4.5 lbs. Good luck in your decision. |
