I have a little yorkie about 4 lbs. I got her a 7 months when my son was 9 months. I was extremely nervous when he started to walk because I thought he would crush her when he fell down. Well, no problems yet. My son is two now. My children were raised with dogs and are very respectful with animals. I hope that helps. feel free to pm me with any questions.
