I agree, Paula, there are way too many questions in this case. If this was, in fact, a dog mauling, I would be more suspicious of an adult pug than a lab puppy. ANY dog will bite under the right circumstances, any dog. But some dogs and some breeds are more likely to be aggressive. I guess this is a conjuncture - the truth may never be known or revealed.
