NEVER punish her for peeing where shes not supposed to my goodness shes a little baby u cant expect her to be fully potty trained.... how is ur friends mind
ur puppy is small and needs a lot of time, i know yorkies are intelligent but u cant expect miracles, u cant compare a yorkie to a rotweiler or bullterrier...........
if u punish her for peeing everywhere she will turn out to be a nervous little yorkie coz she really doesnt know what u mean when she gets punished if u catch her on the spot u can pick her up and put her on her pad... also she needs to be put on the pad when she wakes up, after a meal and between playing.... she is NOT trying to see how far she can go, she has NO clue what "testing" U is about!!!!
Tip: dont let ur puppy see u clean up after shes done what shes not suppose to do coz they interpret that as... "ur paying attention to what she did, u like it"... dont rase ur voice AFTER.... its too late and she gets confused!!
it will all come right in time... praise her when she does it right if u got a treat ready, give it to her right away.
u can repremand and correct her but i have never believed in punishment.
