I couldn't agree with you more, I have a little girl her that I call Snug-A-Lumpkin. She is going to be a bigger girl I'm guessing around 7 or 8 pounds and she has dropped ears and it doesn't in anyway change her personality or looks to me. She is the last one out of Paris and Johnny's litter to find the perfect home because people seem to steriotype what a Yorkie puppy's ears should be. Everyone who has looked at her locally has laughed at her ears and I've gotten up set and told them that she will just stay here with me until I find a home that will love her for what she is... My Lumpkin
She is the happest baby you will find, and spoiled beyond belief by my husband who calls her Teddy because her hair is so full thats what she looks like. The way I see it is they are just like people, some walk with a natural limp or have big nose's and some don't. Either way it doesn't make them less of a person for it. This is Lumkin two weeks ago. Quite frankly, that is the way they were originally bred before the crazed desire to add ears that stand up. Actually, he was actually more calm and lovable than some stand up eared Yorkies. |
