Sorry for taking so long to reply! The Ice on Ice is very good and I use it every day. I find it does help a bit to get out the knots and tangles, but you still have to sit down and take them out gently, even with the Ice on Ice. It is a Chris Christensen (sp?!) product and you can get it on their online store. It does leave a lovely shine on their coats. When I first bought it I didn't think it was that great until I noticed the lovely shine it was giving to Tootsy's coat. Now I use it a lot. Ellie's coat sounds like Tootsy's coat. Tootsy needs a lot of rich conditioner in order to get her coat tangle free. You say that the Summerwind Conditioner has been so good on Ellie's coat, are you still liking it? I am thinking of trying it out next. I have tried the Chris Christensen Day by Day conditioner, I think it is called that, but it was not rich enough for Toots. Their shampoo was too drying for her as well. Vet Solutions shampoo is one I did like - I got the oatmeal and aloe vera one. It wasn't drying on her coat.
