I use a break-away collar for Marcel (since he's smaller) from
Cloe's Collars - I make sure I can only fit my pinky in btwn his collar and neck (vs. "2-finger rule" of big dogs) and I use a slide-on i.d. tag like this:
Slide On Tag.
For Wylie, who is 7.5-7.8 lbs., I use a leather collar and regular dangle tag.
