I totally agree with Bettyeanne! I think you are doing wonderfully! One accident is not bad at all especially since it was not her fault. She is communicating with you....it just takes time to understand the signals.
Congratulations on the training and she sounds to me like she is still beyond the need to crate train imo. Good job!
