Don't beat yourself up! None of us aren't guilty of making mistakes or misjudgements with our babies. We have caused similar accidents with Toto and on those occasions we neither scold nor treat. We just do as you did and take their attention elsewhere while keeping an extra eye out for the successes. We just try to make a bigger deal of the next success .... praise and a treat and simply go on! Sounds like you are doing an excellent job with Trixie's training! Keep up the good work!
