They lay around all day in the air conditioner. I am not saying that what these people are doing is right. But remember your farm history. Animals need exercise. Some like to be outside and need to expell energy. I have a 2 1/2 lbs male yorkie, that goes outside with me every morning to do chores. I am outside 3-4 hours. He is with me the whole time. Summer, winter and in between. Today it was 85 here. I had a hard time getting him to come into the house. He wanted to stay out side. As we are on a farm and way off of the road, it is safe for him to be out. We do Agility with the dogs. Even in the summer evening heat, we go to lessons and practice. Some of those little , yorkies, poms, poodles, boarder collies, have a ball. Remember not all people were raised in town , where things are restricted. Some people are still living back at our long ago roots. Maybe we need to try to experience those things again. I know that you all didn't want to hear this, after getting all up set over this yorkie. Just my opinion. |
No dog deserves to be on a chain, left in the heat. When an animal is showing anxiety this is a huge problem!! This man is trying to help a pup with anxiety in extreme heat - not some couch potato
In my opinion - your comments are way out of line here. We are trying to help this man and this dear yorkie. Not justify why someone would tie up a dog
We don't need to go back to roots -- when people know better, they should do better - not regress!!
