Did you change her food or anything? If not, I'd definitely mention this to the vet as it could be due to a number of things - irritating the digestive system at the surgical site somehow and/or irritating the esophagus from intubation, maybe causing some reflux/or swallowing air...?

Also though, hormones can cause gas - so with her going through alot of hormonal adjustments, it could be this as well.
