Default Anyone deal first hand with Asperger's?

My oldest was recently diagnosed at the same time he was released from the early childhood program in our school district. He's in speech and OT twice a week this summer and will start a mainstream Kindergarten this August. I'm really worrying. He's not doing that great this summer and his repetitiveness is increasing. He's not listening well and he's not making eyecontact like he did.

I know youngsters go through bouts of asking questions, but is it usually the SAME 5-6 phrases over and over again? Like exactly? I will ask him what I told him and he'll tell me what I said but then a moment later he's asking me the same questions.

I get conflicting ideas on how to handle it. 1. Refusing to answer and saying, we talked about this, no more now. Or 2. Keep reassuring him and answering them.

The same 5-6 questions constantly the last two days and I'm at a loss
