Poor baby! Kennel cough can last several weeks, especially in puppies. Also, it can progress to pneumonia, but it doesn't *really* sound that way - but at this point, I'd get him checked again. If for nothing else, to definitely get him a prescription cough suppressant so he can sleep at night - bc sleep deprivation will not be good for his immune system. I really would take him in again - he may need a stronger, more aggressive antibiotic too, unfortunately.
