Maybe I should be posting this in the sick injured thread, but Corky's not really sick or injured...just TICK-IFIED !!!
.....Flamin' ticks !
Went to Loch Ness the other day which is just along the road from my house here in the TICK filled Highlands of Scotland, and 2 of my 4 babies got horrible ticks...not the small black ones, but the large red and brown ones !
I got Tammy's off, but Corky's broke at the head !
Anyone know anything that'll get it out...?
......the skin closes over it and it's so deep...have tried to gouge it out with a needle which hurt him a bit, but he was very good...also tried tweezers, but it is well hooked at the top of his leg !
I put antiseptic on it, but if I leave it, it is going to get infected and will be burried in there when the skin heals.
Also can anyone tell me if anything else will happen if I leave it in there ?
