You made eed to give your puppy more space while you are gone. He is very young, and could possibly be getting bored, and have too much energy . My Suzi is always playing in her water dish, and we are home. So I am constanly refilling her water.... However i am home to do that.
i think you can also buy a timed feeder that dispenses food out at times that you want to feed your puppy.
Could a family member check on him more often throughout the day? Your puppy could be lonely and need human contact.
