I have heard the same thing about "don't get a pup that is CKC Registered". But, IMHO, CKC is cheaper, less complicated, and being CKC Registered does not make the pup any less full-blooded.

All of my dogs are CKC Registered and there are a lot of irresponsible AKC Breeders as there is CKC & other registries. That is just my take on the matter.
