I think you misunderstood...I didn't mean diasppointed if you try to make a change, I meant disappointed if expect to control the way others think, or post, as is the case here. Big difference between making a change and trying to control others.

If you expect everyone to fit one mold and conform to one way of responding, then yes, you are bound for disappointment, cause it ain't gonna happen, nor should it. People don't lose their "rights" to expressing the way they feel just because others don't like their point of view or the way it was expressed.

Furthermore, who's "right" is it to make that call? Again, civilty is a matter or perception.
Has this all been said before? Yes
Will it be said again? Yes
Is there any reason why these concerns shouldn't be said again? Nope, not if someone truly feels strongly about it.
My point was, is it likely that it will magically "change" the situation? Nope, no more than the dozen other times it's been stated. But again, if it will open up ONE person's mind a little, then it's not a loss.
Personally, I would be very discouraged if people stopped showing the passion they have for Yorkies here. I respect anyone who takes the time to give adivce and help others out...regardless of how the information is delivered. And like you have pointed out, if only 1 person "gets it" then it was not a loss and something was achieved.
And this is all generally speaking, not addressed at anyone in particular...
