I bought a Dremel at Walmart and it has been one of the best $19.97 that I have spent! lol It's the BATTERY OPERATED kind and it brings a charger so you wont be buying new batteries!
I use the lowest setting sometimes I use the #2 . Lola our Maltese doesnt mind it at all,Angel is ok with it but

my tiniest one has a big problem with it lol
He cries in a low screaching sound and I KNOW it doesnt hurt him. But the reason he does this is because he is traumitized because of an old injury. He got his nail caught somewhere and he yanked and yanked and almost the entire nail was ripped off. I mean it was really bad dangling by a thread. I thought for sure he'd lose the whole nail. But it grew back so everytime I sand his nails down he remembers
The good thing is I dont have to do this too often! I do this like every other month. It's that good. When I clipped I had to do this at elast 2 times a month.

DO NOT buy the electric Dremel with cord! It is extremely powerful and will deffinately rip the nail off !
The battery charged Dremel is low powered and great
