 Portia in heat for the 1st Time!
Yesterday evening I noticed that my 9 month old yorkie suddenly went into heat. She was constantly licking herself and she is very swollen down there. Is this normal? What do most YT owners do when they go in heat? Is it best to use those "doggie diapers" or just kind of let it come out naturally. I have not noticed any odd behavioral changes although she has been barkling a bit more excessivley. She is also sleeping more than normal. Is this all due to being in heat? All advice is welcomed! |
