Be careful about thinking that it is not broken...you can walk around with a broken bone in your foot for months and not know it cause it feels like it healed...then you walk into something and find out you have a fracture....been there , done that.
I had dropped a wine bottle on the top of my foot...it was sore for a couple of weeks and no one thought it was fractured (no DR.)...then months later I walked into the baby gate(in the dark) and it got sore again...then one morning a couple of weeks later my toe got caught in my sock when I was putting it on and I actually heard the snap...a very tiny bone was fractured. I won't go into the experience with the doctor I went to and had to go to another....but in the meantime once I found out it was fractured I put an ace bandage on it and the second Dr. said I did an excellent job and that all was in place and healing.
So be careful with those tiny bones....
BTW...hope it does not happen to you.
