I have discovered a fantastic kennel bought on Amazon, which looks like a proper little Alpine Chalet. It took just over an hour to build despite it being supplied with less than helpful instructions. It came from a company called 'Tested On Animals' and was very promptly despatched.

I wanted somewhere in the garden for the puppies to play in safety and have somewhere dry/warm/cool for them to relax. My partner and I designed a puppy compound and built it over two days. All that remains is to get some camoflague netting to cover the whole area so that the larger birds of prey, of which there are Buzzards and a Goshawk in the vacinity, cannot swoop down and take the puppies.

This puppy compound will be very useful to keep Caro and Rhia safe while I am away visiting clients. I hope they will play happily together and not make it their task to try to tunnel out of it.

Does anyone have any training tips to deter puppies from digging? If I leave them longer than 20 mins unsupervised in the garden, they dig the lawn up!
