I see your point, but I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I really don't think dogs need someone to be with them 24/7. I'd be more worried that that would make them have SERIOUS seperation anxiety issues.
There's nothing wrong with leaving a pup home during the day as long as it is still socialized and cared for and loved. And having someone drop by to let them out/play with them once or twice a day while you're away is enough, IMO. There are plenty of people on here who work all day - it's a part of life and is necessary in order to provide money to care for the dog.
I sincerely hope that Christina doesn't feel like she has to rehome her puppy just because she's away from him for a few hours a day. It's not worth the emotional pain, if you ask me. yes, I could understand that she should rehome Benny if she were hardly EVER home, but she leaves in the morning and comes home in the evening, like anyone who works.
Tucker never had someone with him all day when he was a puppy and he's perfectly socialized, housebroken, and trained. It's not necessary to ALWAYS be around your pup, as long as they are safe when you're not home, and get love and attention when you are.
