Whew! I just did Bentley's nails with my dremel. I used the lowest setting - 2 - and he screamed just twice. I kept having to hold him in such a way that was probably quite uncomfortable for him but at least I was able to do his nails without traumatizing the poor guy. About 5 minutes ago I was done and then I went out for a smoke. When I came in and relaxed on the couch he came right up to me and jumped on the couch and layed on me. So at least he's not associating the traumatic experience with ME...

I was firm and never wavering when he kept fighting me and trying to run away. Hopefully now his nails are short enough so they wont click-clack on the kitchen floor. If they are, I'll redo them in one week.
