I'm a knitter and have been told when selling a good rule of thumb is to take the cost of materials and double it. Another thing I do is check the catalogs for similar items and see what they're charging. Here in NYC, people will pay just about any price, but you still get those that don't understand the time and skill involved. You may also want to try the Yahoo quilting groups; they'll give you a better idea. Good luck!
