That seems awfully early, many people wait till 6-7 months because Yorkies often need to have their baby teeth removed, and this can be done at the time of neutering, otherwise he has to go under anesthesia twice, and this is the most dangerous part of any surgery. Also, if done during neutering, cost is $5-10.00 a tooth, if done separately; it's several hundred dollars. If the permanent teeth come in while milk teeth are still present, it can cause many problems such as a bad bite, and cavities due to food buildup between the two rows of teeth. I would ask my vet about this; however, some vets don't realize how big a problem this is for Yorkies. I've read many people say they wished they had waited, and got it all done at once.
