I know your just frustrated, I would be as well if I woke up often during the
night.
I would give Baxter a nice long walk before bedtime. If he can hold his
bladder during the day there is no reason he can not at night!
It may becoming habit forming. Getting up I mean. If he is walked before bed and no water
given after the walk then he should be able to get threw the night.
I can only mention to you that my vet said do not get up at night with
Buddy. This is how they learn to hold it. I am talking about a 6mo or older
pup. I stopped getting up! When he would wake me I just put him on the
floor. He never did anything just wanted attention is all. After a couple of nights he settled in and slept right along with me. Don't give up.
You just need to find a way to get threw this phase.
Play at nighttime with him too. Don't let him just sleep while your watching
tv. Try and keep him active. The walk before bed is a must.
