 Misty was spayed!
Poor Misty was spayed and had her second eye tooth pulled at the same time. She was really in pain for the first five days, but today she is doing better. It was like taking care of a little baby. Carrying her up and down the stairs, feeding her ice cubes, etc. I had to get a lamp shade because she was chewing her stitches. That was a ball, let me tell you. She would just stand completely still. Even when I put her to bed, she just stood for at least 3 hours. She finally had to lay down to go to sleep. I am just so very glad that it is all over and that she made it through the surgery. After all, it is major surgery. And when they are so small, it scares the heck out of one! Just need to go back and have her stitches removed Friday!
