It is very sad when we have to live with the results of having made an impulse purchase. I certainly hope that Bailey is placed soon with a forever more home.
Another viewpoint on giving a dog away...... with any dog there comes expenses including feeding good high quality food, normal healthy vet visits, toys, etc.etc. etc. And looming is always the possibility of an illness or injury. Most us know of or have experienced costly health care for our babies. Having said that, if one cannot afford the initial purchase price of a dog, then is it reasonable to believe that there will not be funds available to take care of unexpected emergencies. |
