I think that is cute that you don't know what a Scrunchie is. It's something that we here take something such as a Scrunchie for granted (I couldn't live without them with my daughters or my Yorkies ) and don't even realize that there are other people out there who don't know what they are.

They are like hair bands or rubber bands...But made of terry cloth...and there is some made of cloth....Ladies, little girls and teens wear them all the time... My little and older girls wear the cloth Scrunchies all the time with their hair pulled back in a pony tail.

They don't pull Yorkies coat out as easy as band or rubber bands do...This is what I use ONLY on my Yorkies even when Teddys coat was longer I just divided his coat up and put it "LOOSELY" in Scrunchies...

The key is having them looser so they don't pull NO coat at all...This way they aren't wanting to pull them out as much...If you get one little strand of coat to tight and it pulls, then look out they will rub, pull, bite whatever they can to get them out, then there goes their coats broken...You can go look at my photos to see the Scruchines in my gals bangs.
