Tyke breathes like but only occasionally and it's not even once a week. Bubba did this last night for some time...and he's doing it now. His whole body heaves when he does it. Is it a normal puppy thing or is doggie asthma or what it is? I'm reaaaaally paranoid

Tyke is still hopping around on three legs He gets his surgery for his ligament tear on the 24th....however we are taking him to a specialist about 45 minutes away who specializes in orthopedic surgery specifically for small dogs. If we can get Tyke in to see him before too long we'll take him there but if we have to wait a month and pay 1000 dollars then he'll just get it done at the vet on the 24th.

Hello
I am going through the same thing with my little yorkie. He sounds like he is coughing AND breathing through his nose very fast and hard. He even does this when he is sleeping. He is tiny, 2.5 lbs. and I am very worried. I have taken him to the vet 7 times. They just keep prescribing meds. and with his little liver it worries me. I am at a loss as well.
