I use nothing but scrunchies from the Dollar Store...They have 300 of them for a dollar...They are really tiny ones but stretch pretty good...When I take them out none of mine loose coat due to them...They slide out...

You have to watch tho when putting them in not to get other strands of coat caught in them when you twist them for the ponys...I can't use the scrunchies from Wal-Mart they don't stretch good enough and when you take them out they loose coat. My gals are rough when playing and pull each others pony out and these scrunchies does help them not to loose coat.

I tried bands broke my gals and guys coat so I went back to the scrunchies...I bought all they had last time I went which was like 6 bags so were good to go for a while. lol. If you'd like me to send you a few to try you could PM me your address and I'll send you some. They have them in different colors too for boys and girls. Hope this will help you.
