Well my boyfriend and I went outside to put it in a box we made. I picked it up off the fence and it fluttered.. got it to the ground and it just sat there on the driveway. It moved a couple of times (looking around and scratching itself) It didn't seem injured.. even pooed in my hand

. We sat there with it for 10 minutes or so then I tried and put it in the box and it fluttered right back out! It landed back on the driveway and sat there for a few minutes then flew back on the fence where it was! So I decided to just leave it be, at least for the night. I'll observe tomorrow and see if the parents are coming back. It was soooo darn cute and soft

I read a lot of places that say it's a myth that if you touch a baby bird the mother will not come back so I'm not worried about that anymore.
Thanks for the help all.
