Stedman probably DOESN'T drink quite the amount of water that he should be drinking...I personally think that he should be drinking more. He is on NV Raw and I do notice that when I feed him dry kibble (Wellness Core), he drinks alot more water. I mentioned this to the vet, and told him that he probably isn't drinking enough water, but the vet said that he didn't think that that is what caused the UTI. |
They won't drink as much water when they are on raw. With kibble, there is very little moisture in their food so they have to drink a lot of water. However, the raw is like 70% moisture so they get quite a bit of water from their food...they don't have to drink as much water because of that.
