Hey everyone. I have a little yorkie who is a little over a year old and we love to take her hiking and fishing and she loves the adventure...believe it or not she is very curious of the fish! She is up for just about anything if it involves adventure and the outdoors...except...when it comes to water! She sees a body of water (meaning any sort of pool, river, lake, pond, etc) and runs as far away from it as possible. We have tried everything to get her used to being around water and even playing in very shallow water but she won't have any of it! We are going to the ocean soon and want to be able to take our little baby, but I am so afraid that she will HATE it. She has this unhealthy fear of water...but yet she does fine with her bath, a little trembling when she is cold but mostly she does good. so....I need some advice. I really want to get her to not be scared of water and even be able to play in it sometimes but I just don't know where to start! I have even thought about buying a little puppy life jacket, any suggestions??? PLEASE HELP!
