I ran into a lady carrying her dog at the mall a couple of months ago. She was an adorable yorkie and of course, being a yorkie owner myself, I ran up to her to say hi. She told me her dog's name was Fendi Dior  I don't know, it just seems like she's advertising her dog as a fashion statement.
I'm sure there are pet owners that just like the sound of these names. I have to admit, the name Chanel is very very cute.

LOL - ya...not worth being bugged about - people will do what they want for whatever reasons....but thanks for that last comment about the name 'Chanel' ...
my oldest is 6 and named Chanel....I named her that because it was one of my first perfume addictions
