I bought Harley some steps at Target. When my bed was on the floor (no bed rails), she used the stairs to get in and out of bed at night if she was hungry or had to go to the bathroom without waking me up.
Now that my bed is on a frame, the stairs are not high enough, so she just uses the stairs to get up into the window sill.
It took a little while to get her totally comfortable with the stairs. And going up was easier than going down. I put a treat at the top or bottom to get her to run up or down. Now she does it with no problem. And I am looking for taller stairs. |
