I ran into a lady carrying her dog at the mall a couple of months ago. She was an adorable yorkie and of course, being a yorkie owner myself, I ran up to her to say hi. She told me her dog's name was Fendi Dior I don't know, it just seems like she's advertising her dog as a fashion statement.

I'm sure there are pet owners that just like the sound of these names. I have to admit, the name Chanel is very very cute.

Maybe I need to get a life and not let it bug me.
We all have things that bug us that don't matter to others - to you its the names and as i was reading this i had to chuckle to myself and please don't think i am picking on you - but you stated that " being a yorkie owner myself, i ran up to her " Now we know why people all coming running to our dogs and so i am trying to make the comparison to a thread of a few weeks ago that had one of us here on YT all bent out of shape over people running up to and wanting to touch etc. By comparison i guess a different name than we would choose is not a big deal -- I guess what i am trying to get across here is that we all need to learn to be more tolerant of other peoples ideas, names, clothes etc - we are each individuals and have the right to name our dog, dress our selves and have our own ideas - Thanks for letting me add my two cents to this I for one love to see how people name their baby and i have been known to have a few strange ones also
