Hello! When I do a modified schnauzer, I usually use a #5 or #7 (A5 clipper blade) on the body, the hand scissor the furnishings. He looks pretty good for your first attempt! I have learned that when a customer asks for a "modified schnauzer cut" what they really usually want is a pet westie cut. It is pretty much a schnauzer body with a round full face.(like a puppy cut face) You might try pet westie grooming in a search engine. It might turn up some detailed pics that may help!
